For the second consecutive year, Pilates claimed the top spot as the most-booked workout globally. ClassPass users who book a Pilates class are highly likely to book another within the same week, proving its addictive appeal. Massage continued to be the most-booked wellness service globally in 2024, with a 39% increase in reservations. However, specialized services like body scans (+159%), cosmetic treatments (+133%), and body sculpting (+90%) are redefining wellness priorities. These data-driven offerings reflect a growing demand for personalized and results-oriented experiences that go beyond traditional spa treatments.

Workout schedules mirrored a typical workweek, with weekday sessions peaking at 5:30 p.m., while weekends saw a later start at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday emerged as the most popular day for workouts, while Sunday remained the preferred rest day. September overtook October as the busiest month for booking workouts, highlighting fall as an ideal time to reset fitness routines.

Globally, New York Metro led in class bookings, followed by Los Angeles, London, Amsterdam, and Singapore. Interestingly, travel bookings surged as more users incorporated fitness into their trips—14% of U.S. users booked classes outside their home markets while traveling. This trend hints at the rise of fitness tourism as people seek to stay active even on the go.

Pop culture continued to influence fitness trends in 2024. Taylor Swift-themed classes topped reservation charts with over 15,000 bookings on ClassPass alone.
